This is regarding the Hot Air Balloon Chase Crew position.
We will be looking to fill the position during our wet season (April and this year early May) and commence with regular work when the fields dry in May.
The position as stated requires flexibility to travel, is somewhat physical and a strong working knowledge of driving trailers (No Exception) is necessary. The rest of the work is trainable and is learnt on the go.
The pay is briefly as follows; if we are working locally it is $45 if we fly, zero if we do not. If we are on the road it is $45 a half day so $90 a day whether we fly of not. There will be days when we put the balloon up multiple times you get $90. Overall it is in your benefit to get paid by the day not the flight in the summer due to cancellations. On the road expenses are covered (Food and accommodations).
For the contract we take care of primarily Eastern Ontario but occasionally through out the rest of Ontario as well as the Maritimes.
