Adecco is looking for qualified TIG Welders/Fitters to fill a permanent full time position in the Aerospace field. Our client is located in the east end of Ottawa.
Job Description: Ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience in a sheet metal environment, preferably in Aerospace. Experience in fitting of various metals This is a permanent placement with many benefits, such as: 2 weeks vacation Benefits after 3 months Differed profit sharing plans Annual performance bonuses Shift is Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm.
Must have the following job specific qualifications:
* Experienced in MIG & TIG stainless steel and aluminum.
* Ability to read blueprints and fit materials together
* Fitters experienced in layout, shear, cutting, brake forming and assembly
* Ability and willingness to work closely with others
Other required skills:
* Steel Toe Boots
* Reliable Transportation
* Fast-paced environment
* Work under pressure
* Able to provide 2 work related references
Must be eligible to obtain an enhanced reliability clearance

Job Description:
Ideal candidate will have 2-3 years experience in a sheet metal environment, preferably in Aerospace.
Experience with grinding and deburring equipment, as well as hand tools and power tools. Solid riveting a definite asset.
This is a permanent placement with many benefits, such as:

Shift is Monday to Thursday 4:00pm to 2:30am, with a shift premium of an additional $1.00 per hour.
Must have the following job specific qualifications:
* Familiar with thin gauge metal forming
* Grinding, deburring and preparation of various components
* Drilling, riveting, and assembly of various components
* Experience with blueprint reading and layout
